Flood And Social Assistance In The Area Of Sichuan In Ming And Qing Dynasties

Disaster of Historical geography is the important aspects of historical geography, and the distribution of temporal and spatial of flood in historical period is the important aspects of Disaster of historical geography. Flood of Sichuan, the high frequency of the occurrence, and the weight of the disaster, which is the focus priority of scholars. But study of the flood of about Sichuan more attention to long time or a specific area of study in China, for the Ming and Qing dynasties dating floods in Sichuan little research. The article based on this case, through the collection and arrangement of literature, use of Historical geography. Statistics,Geography other subjects,then study of spatial and temporal distribution of Sichuan flood and relief as a whole. Hoping to make up for the geographical history of disaster research on the lack of floods in Sichuan, but also want to prevention and relief of flood of Sichuan play a role.The article discusses the following four aspects:Part I, introduction section。Main topic is the definition of the elements:definition of time and geographical,floods and defines the concept of social assistance, and the illustrate of the academic and practical values.Then, the author introduce situation of study about spatial and temporal distribution of Sichuan flood and relief.PartⅡ, basic historicaldata of flood of Sichuan during the Ming and Qing dynasties. The section, which illustrate the source of historicaldata of floods in Sichuan.And production chart of annalistic style on flood of state and county of Sichuan, include time,location,the situation of the disaster,and the source of historicaldata. Final, introduce situation about flood of Sichuan.Part III, spatial and temporal characteristics of floods in Sichuan during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Author arrangement historicaldata according to different type, analyze characteristic of spatial and temporal distribution of Sichuan flood,and then ascertain distribution strongly or weakly of time and region. Author believe Flood of Sichuan show trends of stage:the low occurrence of slow growth period——flood frequency stable period——high incidence of high growth period. Then, the article analyze the reason of disproportion of spatial and temporal distribution of Flood.PartⅣ, social assistance during the floods of the Ming and Qing dynasties. The section introduce Sichuan floods in Sichuan region's economic and social impact.
