With the development of information technology in education, information technologytools in the application of English Teaching increasingly widespread, to a large extent, havebeen changing the traditional teaching and learning. English listening and speaking is animportant part of teaching. How to improve listening and speaking ability, has been the urgentproblems in teaching practice. The development of Application of Information Technology toEnglish listening and speaking Teaching has supported a new way to solve this problem.In this thesis, I take the English listening and speaking Teaching in Baoding Vocationaland Technical College as the research object. I have studied and analyzed it for almost oneyear by means of document analysis, questionnaire and observation. I take a situation analysisin information technology-assisted teaching of English listening and speaking for thevocational students, and identify the shortcomings, and put forward on how to improveapplication and strategies of Information Technology to English listening and speakingteaching in Vocational and Technical College.Frist,the thesis explains research purpose, research contents, research method andresearch significance by expounding the information technology-assisted teaching.Andsecond the thesis takes a situation analysis in information technology-assisted teaching ofEnglish listening and speaking for the vocational students in Baoding Vocational andTechnical college.The third Part is the key point of this thesis, it mainly aims at the currentproblems existing in information technology-assisted teaching of English listening andspeaking for the vocational students and try to research the application and strategies.Last,the thesis carrys on the summary of this thesis, and after the confirming of this contributions,point out the Shortcomings of this thesis, and also has indicated the direction to the followingresearch for this thesis.
