Zong Baihua Artistic Theory

Throughout the history of Chinese Aesthetics, there are many famous aestheticians who have made great contributions among which Mr. Zong Baihua is one of the most extraordinary aesthetician. His aesthetical ideas continuously break away from the old model and turn into the paradigm of modern aesthetics.Mr. Zong's books are not many, but most of them are conveyed in a leisure and thoughtful way. Zong Baihua can not become a write or a theorist, but his profound aesthetical ideas and elicitation thoughts are of great enlightment. Looking through his work, we can feel Mr. Zong Baihua's aesthetical language bright with great wisdom. As the Chinese Scholar Mr. Ji Xianlin said:"Zong's aesthetical ideas should be re-examined, and his status in the history of Chinese aesthetics should be reassessed."The deep thoughts of Zong's aesthetics are of positive significance since he is full of aesthetic charm.This thesis analyzes the conception theory of Chinese and Western theories to sort out the nature of traditional Chinese culture and make a new interpretation of his theory. The analysis may have some arbitrary of the author and can not reveal Mr. Zong's theory adequately, but I have printed it down the footprints of knowledge.
