Study On Different Stage Oriented Assessment Model Of New Technology Commercialization

After the studying of the literatures, the author drew a conclusion by descriptive research and set up a different stage oriented assessment system of new technology commercialization.At the beginning, Based on the literature review the author fixed on several concepts about this study and the study scope. The author summarized a systemic model of key elements in technology evaluation of the new technology commercialization process, which became the basic of the following study. Meanwhile, the author found some limitation of the literatures and gave some hypotheses to be validated. The method of this study results from reference to the Cloverleaf ModelTM.In the part of descriptive research, the technology transfer experts were asked to rate the importance of each of the technology assessment criteria developed from the systemic model mentioned above. By using several kinds of statistical method, the author got some key criteria in every stage and then constructed a different stage oriented assessment model of new technology commercialization. Finally, the author constructed a tool of new technology commercialization assessment by stage, which can help technology transfer practitioners and evaluation people in quantifying the qualitative index and provide them a controlling or decision-making tool. Although there are some limitations, the method of constructing the assessment model is practical and the structure of the tool is in place for good evaluation.
