The Application Of PPA In CNOOC

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the necessity and the method of application of the Project Post Audit (PPA) to China National Offshore Oil Corp. (CNOOC). It is divided into six sections as follow:Section 1&2, the author briefly introduces the background and organization of CNOOC, as well as the characteristic and management actuality of the investment projects in CNOOC. The purpose of these two sections is to make readers have a rough understanding to the environment in which the projects lie.Section 3, the author explains the importance of PPA integrating the actualities of PPA outside and inside China.Section 4&5, the author analyzes how to set up the management organization of PPA and how to implement the PPA in CNOOC in details.Section 6, the author intuitively shows the total process of PPA by a simulative case.
