Maintain And Strengthen Political Legitimacy Of China At The Period Of Social Transformation

Legitimacy is a major concept in politics, political sociology and political philosophy. Legitimacy is usually regarded as the foundation of holding power effectively and political stability , and at the same time legitimacy crisis is a universal political problem for the counties under the background of social transformation . Because of coexisting of both opportunity and hazard , the problem of political legitimacy becomes increasingly important at the period of social transformation . Standing at the position of Marxism, this thesis makes a comprehensive study on the concept, basis and significance of political legitimacy from the perspectives of political sociology and political philosophy and analyzes the change of the basis of legitimacy from the three generation leaders of CPC which developed knowledge of the political legitimacy step by step and legitimate symbol as well as facing lash and challenge at the period of transformation . Most of all, the thesis mainly inquires into maintaining and strengthening political legitimacy from every aspect of high efficiency in holding power ,ideology developing, democracy and legality system perfecting as well as cultivating of political human under the foundation of absorbing the experience and lesson that Pro-Soviet Union disintegrated because of losing the legitimacy.
