By summarizing the related literature of World Cup, the author finds that at present most of the study focus on the characteristics of football activity, football match, scoring method, time and space, which is isolated. The thesis, based on previous studies, adopted comprehensive ways of the literature reference, experts interview, mathematical statistics, and observation statistics research methods to study the 145 scoring goals'characteristics of time and space systematically so as to analyze football attack better. This study finds some characteristics and regulation of gaining ball-control, times of passing a ball, tactical coordination forms, scoring goals'period, the whole time of driving the ball and attacking areas. Then the study puts forwards to practical suggestions that can be used as references for coaches and athletes to improve ability of making scores in training and competition. The thesis draws the following conclusions in the study:1. In the 19th World Cup's scoring actions, the main means are robbing and intercepting balls to gain attacking chances, the highest ratio of passing and shooting are over 5 times, which covers 73% of the total goals. The shot coordination form are mainly made up of direct shot, head shot, quick and concise dual and triple action combinations. This suggests that modern football's attacking actions show the features of quick transition from offensive to defense, quick robbing and intercept after losing the ball, gaining offensive chances, offensive by quick and concise passing and intercept combinations to win.2. In the 19th World Cup, driving the balls home in the second half are more than in the first half, the number of goals in the first quarter period are the least, difference of goals in rest period is not great. The first scoring teams always have great master advantages. In this World Cup the first scoring teams covers 70.3% of all the winners. Most of the time required for a goal is 1-15 minutes; all together there are 101 goals, which covers 69.69% of total goals. This shows that the lese time spent from gaining ball-control to finishing a shot, the more possibilities of shots.3. Offensive scoring ratio in midfielder area 5 and backcourt area 8 is the highest. In the 19th World Cup there are more offensive shots in area 2 and 3 than in other areas, followed by area 6 and 7. The ratio of shots is the highest in gate area 1, 2 and 3, which is 57.93% of the total goals. The quantity of shots is the highest in bottom right-hand corner of the gate 3 and blind angle 9. The middle area 5 of gate is the least shot area as it is the place where goalkeepers first stand.4. The tactical coordination before hitting home is basically completed by quick offensive combinations, which means struggling of time and space in the match is more intense. Mr. Hughes'theory of quick direct style still has practical reference significance to nowadays football competition. The theory of quick direct style should be based on the actual situation and the status of competition in the spot and applied flexibly.
