Population aging is one of the signs of social progress.Since the 19th Century, with the rapid development of human society and the advance and popularity of medical care, the life span of human being has been greatly extended, along with the alternation of generations from high birth rate, high death rate and low natural growth rate to low birth rate, low death rate and low natural growth rate.Entering the aging society is becoming a serious challenge for the whole world.China is the first one to enter the aging society as a developing country. Now,there are about 24 thousand people in China to enter the age level of 60.It just takes 20 years to achieve the process that developed countries need several decades or even hundreds of years.Meanwhile, the aging problem is characterized by uneven distribution, regional disparities, and the asynchronous process in China. It not only brings difficulties for distribution of pension funds, but also challenges for shortening the gap between regional developments. Therefore, studying regional distribution characteristics of the elderly population in China through the analysis of indexes, analyzing the causes of regional difference in aging by using spatial econometric model,it is quite necessary for us to deeply know the China's aging problems and constitute targeted regional population policies.According to literature review, the paper used China's 31 provinces panel data in 1995-2015,I intended to quantitative analyze the distribution characteristics and the trend of population aging based on four aspects included the degree of population aging, the speed of population aging, the density of population aging and the impact on economies.Based on the features of research and model, the spatial diversities of population aging in China were analyzed by using spatial correlation test. This paper chose the spatial dynamic lag panel model reflected the temporal and spatial effects for analyzing the causes of regional aging distribution. For factors of population, economy, health care and education were selected as the basis of measurement, which is the representative indexes influenced aging. The paper mainly put forward a new way and a new idea for research object.According to the research results,it found that China's aging population decreased from east to west. The aging processes in the northwest and northeast are the fastest. There is a clear trend that the aging focus on the central in China. In our country,it presents the features of spatial diversification and process synchronization.Because the unemployment rate, medical conditions, population inertia, spatial spillover effects will accelerate the aging process, especially the spatial spillover effects will make the continuous zonal distributions. The population growth rate, sex ratio, education level will slow down the aging process.Overall, the aging problem is menacing at the present stage,it is urgent for us to study and deal with the aging problem.
