Fujian Province Ordinary University Sports Education Specialized Gymnastics Curriculum Teaching Present Situation And Countermeasure Research

By means of referring to relative documents, investigating, and doing mathemat(?) statistics, this thesis focuses on the PE departments of seven colleges or universities, investigates and analyzes the present teaching and learning situation of the gymnastics course. It aims to promote and speed up the reform of teaching this course in the universities and colleges in Fujian Province, so as to help educate interdisciplinary talents for the modern society. It also tries to point out the advantages and deficiencies of present teaching and learning situation of the gymnastics course in the universities and colleges in Fujian Province under the new circumstances, put forward development countermeasures, so as to further the course reform, at the same time be used as reference for promotion of the gymnastics teaching quality. After investigation and analysis, the thesis put forward the following countermeasures in teaching:1. The teachers should learn continuously and try to develop their teaching abilities, making themselves "all-rounders" in teaching.2. The teachers should take part in and pay more attention to the continuous education or training, so as to promote their comprehensive quality.3. The teachers should try to enrich the teaching and learning activities so as to meet the need of New Curriculum Standards in middle and primary schools and the requirements of the society.4. The teachers should make time to take part in other colleagues' teaching, compete on teaching abilities and assess their teaching results.From the study, the thesis also gives some suggestions to the universities or colleges:1. Pay attention to in-service teachers, training and further education, as well as bringing in new talents;2. Optimize the teaching staff by means of bringing in new teachers or sending in-service teachers to get further training;3. Promote the use of computer-assisted teaching techniques in gymnastics;4. Rearrange and reform the traditional gymnastics curriculum system and teaching contents appropriately so as to meet the teaching in middle and primary schools and the requirements of the society;5. Probe into the evaluation system and its reform, and perfect it;6. Allocate more money to the playgrounds and facilities in the newly-promoted universities or colleges;7. Increase the total number of gymnastics lessons.
