School educational thoughts are ideas and opinions about the nature and purposes of education, which is gradually formed through certain theories and concrete education practice. School educational thoughts come out from the understanding of educational activities in schools; it guides the development of school education in return. Marx's theory of all-round development of human beings is the theoretical basis of our school educational thoughts which guide the development of school education. School educational thoughts should provide conscious guidance for our all-round development. This thesis will analyze the problems in our school educational thoughts in the process of humans' all-round development, by the methods of induction and deduction, history and logic unity, and theory and practice combination. It finally puts forward solutions for the problems in the process of all-round development of human beings.There are three parts in this thesis:The first part analyzes the theoretical basis of school educational thoughts and all-round development of human beings. It mainly discusses the meaning of school education and school educational thoughts, the characteristics of school educational thoughts, the definition of all-round development of human beings and conditions of realization. Meanwhile, the dialectical relationship between school educational thoughts and all-round development of human beings is emphasized. Marx's theory of all-round development of human beings is the theoretical basis of our school educational thoughts, while school educational thoughts reflect the state of cognitive development. The latter can promote humans'all-round development to the ideal implementation.The second part mainly elaborates the problems in the process where our school educational thoughts applied to the all-round development of human beings. We found many problems in the process of all-round development of human beings, by reviewing the historical development of our school educational thoughts. The main problems are:passive learning mode, learning content beyond practice, the trend of standardized education. It reveals that the root of all problems is Utilitarianism which dominate our school education, which is contrary to the fundamental purpose of school education.The third part will focus on strategic thinking between school educational thoughts and all-round development of human beings. It's believed that we can take many specific strategies to fulfill the all-around development of human beings:the human's all-around development should be the core of the school educational thought; human's all-around development should become the instruction in school's education reform; the respect for human's personality should be the precondition when we talk about human's all-around development; school educational thoughts should be changed from knowledge-oriented learning to capacity-building education.
