Rural parents'beliefs regarding children's mental health to parents'basic views and perspectives on children's mental health. It is the empirical cognition which is concerned with children's mental health in parents'educational concept. Specifically, It is includes the rural parents'specifical attenuation to the children's mental health; The parents'basic understanding when the problem existences in the development of children's mental health, the way of promoting children's mental health, the knowledge of the factor which affects the children's mental health. Rural parents'beliefs regarding children's mental health is an important component of parents'educational sense, dynamically acting on parents'parenting behavior through the interaction with other views in parents'educational concept, and then affecting the development of children's mental health. This study aims to investigate the present situation of parents'beliefs regarding children's mental health, and explore the factors which serve influence on them. The thesis is conducted to rich the content of family pedagogy for improving parents'beliefs regarding children's mental health and promoting children's mental health and development.Taking Questionnaire on Rural Parents'Beliefs Regarding Children's Mental Health which is compiled by myself as the research tool, this thesis attempts to explore the current condition of parents'beliefs regarding children's mental health. The main conclusions are as follows:1. Generally speaking, parents'attitudes on children'mental health shows fuzziness, uncertainty and simple.2. Rural Parents of different gender who pay attenuation to the children's mental health are not have the remarkable difference. The mother stresses the determinacy of children who do the things, the Stability of children who pay attention to the things, and the extent of reaction when the children receives the significant stimulation. The father stresses on the ability development of children's human communication.3. Rural parents at different education levels have varying degrees of attitudes regarding children's mental health, which manifests to the mood or emotion dimension understanding of children's mental health. Parents with higher degree incline more to understand the children's mental health.4. Rural parents'beliefs regarding children's mental health has erroneous zones. They include valuing the intellectual instruction and neglecting the psychologically healthy; the thought that the teacher should be responsible for the baby psychologically healthy education; and neglecting the importance that parentage promotes the development of children's mental health. In the research, the percent of 38.3 parents think that "parentage's harmony" will not affect the development of children's mental health. Also some the percent of 47.1 parents does not approval method which can promote the development of children's mental health, and the method is establishing the understanding and the trust friendly relations between the parents and child.By adopting interview method and conducting in-depth interviews with four parents, this thesis argues that the attitudes of parents and children regarding mental health is influenced by the individual factors such as parents'gender, lower education levels, traditional or perceptual education experience. Such a process is also affected by some external environmental factors such as the influence of specific rural culture stage and the mass media.
