Middle school students is the hope of our country, and one of the important sources of power for the future development of the Chinese nation. As a result, students can fully healthy development related to our nation’s future and destiny. Under the background of increasing competition in the current society, the status of bad mental distress of the adolescent students has been very serious. However, rural middle school students’mental health problems should draw more attention of our society. Therefore, the rural middle school students’ mental health education has important practical value. This Paper gets the data through the questionnaire investigation, visiting and other method and reference of the relevant literature to Tianjin five rural middle school students’mental health status and the corresponding education measures were studied. The survey results show that most of the students’ parents in rural areas lack of adequate understanding on mental health and know very little about mental health education knowledge. Students’ mental health education is mostly ignored by rural middle schools. Rural middle school students are more likely to have mental problems. Mental health education in rural middle schools is quite necessary. This paper is based on the survey results of the mental health status of the students in five rural middle schools in Tianjin. This paper expounds the present situation of rural middle school students’mental health and the backward situation of rural middle schools in mental health education, reveals the causes of rural middle school students’mental health problems, put forward some ways and methods to solve the problem of rural middle school students.
