The 21st century is the century when the Chinese nation realizes great revival and our country further moves towards the prosperity. In the new century, the world competition is fundamentally the talented person's competition. The higher education is knowledge diffusion, the innovation, the application's main carrier and is the safeguard of bringing up and creating different kinds of high-level talented persons full of the innovation spirit and the practice ability. The innovation spirit and the practice ability are not only possessed by a few remarkable men but are the potential of all people and can get developed on each person with sound body and mind under the reasonable education and raise, The education responsibility lies in the potential creativity induction, develops and enduing each healthy body with creativity. The research-based teaching is an effective teaching way in stimulating students'desire to study and practice, raising and enhancing the students'overall quality and practice ability by its advanced teaching idea, optimal teaching process and good teaching effect.This research persists in the principle of combining theory with practice using document research, practice, interview, statistics, antithesis and questionnaire survey methods, etc. This research explores the related theory of the research-based teaching based on investigation and study and analyses the situation of carrying out the research-based teaching in some ordinary universities in domestic and foreign countries. The writer make a design on the research-based teaching carried out by football teaching process in ordinary universities and takes students, grade 2009 in football teaching class from Shanxi Teacher University as research objects to carry out teaching practice activities. The findings shows examination results of the experimental class are higher than the comparison class'regardless of its'technical level, practice ability and the theoretical level. After experimenting, it reflects through the questionnaire survey that research-based teaching can further enhance students'learning skill, analyzing skill and problem-solving skill than the traditional teaching. It makes for raising the students'sense of participation on their own initiative, arousing the interests of physical exercise and can heighten the teaching effects, so it show using the researching-based teaching is better than the regular teaching.
