The Research Of Football Course And The Current Situation Of Football Activities About The College Boys In Jiangsu, Zhejiang And Shanghai

The sound development of football in universities, on one hand, can not only help the students cultivate their abilities to reduce the pressure from the lessons and their sociabilities but also help them develop good volitional qualities so as to enhance the overall qualities of the students. On the other hand, it can provide talents for improving the Athletic football game. However, the football game in universities in China is still in a developing period at present. In recent years, the recruitment of students scale in universities has been increasing with the announcement the national policy of Effective Development of Education. And the levels of football knowledge of the students are uneven. So the opportunities and challenges in front of us include how to attract more student to involve in the football classes through various flexible teaching methods and how to make good use of the chance to promote the develop of football in universities. The development of the football game in universities mainly touches upon football sports curriculum and extracurricular football activities. So to make a deep investigation and research in the developments of the two aspects will be of great significance in promoting its development in universitiesThe main methods the author used are documentation method, questionnaire, mathematical statistics, Delphi technique, etc. The research objects are male students in 10 universities in Jiangsu and Zhejiang Provinvces. The investigation was carried on focusing on the football classes and extracurricular activities and there come the following conclusions:1. Among the universities chosen, some have no Common Football Lesson, which, to some extent, reduces the involvement of the students in football classes.2. The football theoretical lessons are lack of strict Examining Mode. And this cannot help the learning of the theoretical knowledge of the football game. 3. The football fields and facilities basically can meet the needs of football classes but cannot meet the needs of extracurricular football activities of the students.4. The football games held by universities cannot meet the need of many students and there exist various problems in the organizations of the games.
