Purpose:At present, most scholars of physical signaling devices used to measure the energy consumption. The combination of physiological signals measured physical signals related research less energy consumption, This research firstly utilizes the heart rate & accelerometry motion sensor in China to examine familiar physical activities' Characteristics in 160 students with different physique, gender, and age. It aims to provide the accumulated data from the combined experiment design of physiological signals measured physical signals. The results would offer scientific evidence to know the characteristics of adolescents'physical activity and energy expenditure. In addition, this study can provide scientific basis for the improvement in body constitution as well as the healthy growth of adolescents. Methods:The subjects in this study are 160 adolescents aged from 11 to 14. According to the Body mass index reference norm for screening overweight and obesity in Chinese children and adolescents, subjects are separated into two groups- Normal weight group and Non-normal weight group.Male adolescents 96 to 32 were obese in body mass, as a Non-normal weight group of men and 64 male adolescents with normal weight in Normal weight group for men。64 female adolescents were normal weight in normal weight as a female group. We apply Actiheart (Camntech Limited, USA), the heart rate & accelerometry motion sensor, to test broadcast gymnastics and 3km/h-8km/h Treadmill Exercise of these subjects. Date, such as Activity count, HR, kcal/min, kcal/min/kg and MET, are collected with the built-in software (Edition 4.0.46), and analyzed with the Statistical software-SPSS17.0.Results:(1)The energy expenditure (kacl/min) of 3km/h-6km/h Treadmill Exercise for non-normal weight group's male adolescents in four separate age groups which are from 11 to 14: 5.54±3.29, 6.80±3.77, 8.66±6.06, 11.7±6.06; the total energy consumption (kacl) of Radio Gymnastics for normal weight group's male adolescents is 24.54±2.17, and the energy expenditure (kacl/min) in four separate age groups: 64±2.64, 4.18±2.83, 4.62±3.35, 6.27±4.1, 9.72±6.12, 11.29±7.78; the total energy expenditure (kacl) of Radio Gymnastics for normal weight group's female adolescents is 17.78±1.21, the energy expenditure (kacl/min) of 3km/h-8km/h Treadmill Exercise in four separate age groups: 2.47±0.68, 2.94±0.71, 3.58±0.85, 4.7±1.21, 7.07±1.37, 7.75±1.57. Which male normal weight group and Non-normal weight group 14-year-old gymnastics, 3km/h-6km/h, 12,13-year-old 6km/h of total energy consumption were significant variance (P <0.05) , no significant differences in other (P > 0.05); male and female with normal weight than 6km/h for 11 years and 7km/h to 14-year-old age group the total energy consumption were significant variance (P<0.05) , other physical activity each age there was no significant variance (P >0.05); For the male and female adolescents in normal weight group, there is no significant variance (P>0.05) on the one-way ANOVA of energy expenditure in different physical activities among the four separate age groups.(2)The MET of 3km/h-6km/h Treadmill Exercise for non-normal weight group's male adolescents in four separate age groups: 4.40±1.09, 5.19±1.09, 6.38±1.28, 8.30±1.62; The MET of Radio Gymnastics for normal weight group's male adolescents in four separate age groups: 4.89±0.32, 3.59±0.63, 4.01±0.61, 5±0.66 , 5.55±0.77, 8.11±1.00, 9.09±0.99; The MET of Radio Gymnastics for normal weight group's female adolescents in four separate age groups: 4.74±0.19, 3.6±0.63, 4.09±0.62, 4.76±0.73; The MET of 3km/h-8km/h Treadmill Exercise for normal weight group's female adolescents in four separate age groups: 5.93±1.06, 8.43±1.06, 9.13±1.17. There is significant variance (P<0.05) among the MET of 5km/h-6km/h Treadmill Exercise for male adolescents in both Normal weight group and Non-normal weight group in the separate four age groups, but no significant variance (P>0.05) exists among the MET of normal weight group's male and female dolescents in four separate age groups. For the male and female adolescents in normal weight group, there is no significant variance (P>0.05) on the one-way ANOVA of MET in different physical activities among the four separate age groups.(3)Remarkab correlation exists between the HR and MET of different weight groups. The correlation coefficient of male adolescents in non-normal weight group is r=0.724(P<0.001), and this in normal weight group is r=0.714(P<0.001). The correlation coefficient of female adolescents in normal weight group is r=0.942(P<0.001).(4)For male adolescents in non-normal weight group, the HR of physical activity with moderate intensity in 3km/h-4km/h Treadmill Exercise is 108-117BPM, and this with vigorous intensity in 5km/h-6km/h Treadmill Exercise is 129-152BPM; For male adolescents in normal weight group, the HR of physical activity with moderate intensity in 3km/h-6km/h Treadmill Exercise is 111-136 BPM, and this with vigorous intensity in 7km/h-8km/h Treadmill Exercise is 163-176 BPM; For female adolescents in normal weight group, the HR of physical activity with moderate intensity in 3km/h-6km/h Treadmill Exercise is 117-149 BPM, and this with vigorous intensity in 7km/h-8km/h Treadmill Exercise is 176-187BPM.Conclusions:(1)For the male and female adolescents in normal weight group, there is no significant variance on the one-way ANOVA of HR, energy expenditure and MET in different physical activities among the four separate age groups. As a result, scholars can set up the male and female adolescents whose age are from 11 to 14 with normal weight as a whole to study in future.(2) In 3km/h, 4km/h, 5km/h, 6km/h Treadmill Exercise, both the total energy expenditure and MET of male adolescents in non-normal weight group are higher than those of normal weight group in the same age group.(3) in both Radio Gymnastics and 3km/h, 4km/h, 5km/h, 6km/h, 7km/h, 8km/h Treadmill Exercise, the total energy expenditure and MET of normal weight group's female adolescents are lower than those of male ones.the results show that participants in different physiques and gender present difference and significant variance in energy expenditure and MET. It implicates that the future study should be based on different physique and gender to measure energy condition and plan recommended amount of physical activity for age 11~14 teenages.(4)For male adolescents in non-normal weight group, Radio Gymnastics and 3km/h, 4km/h Treadmill Exercise can be classified into physical activities with moderate intensity; 5km/h,6km/h Treadmill Exercise is physical activity with vigorous intensity. For male and female adolescents in normal weight group, Radio Gymnastics and 3km/h, 4km/h, 5km/h, 6km/h Treadmill Exercise can be classified into physical activities with moderate intensity; 7km/h, 8km/h Treadmill Exercise is physical activity with vigorous intensity.(5)The range of HR for adolescents with different physiques when they do physical activities with moderate and vigorous intensity can be referred for the self-assessment over intensity of physical activities in future.
