Content: Experience is a new subject and is increasingly becoming a hotspot in the field of education. This paper aims at inspecting the historical development of thoughts on experience, analyzing implications of experience in different domains and thus generalizes the definition of experience, and pointing out that experience is a new kind existence based on personal experience, which is created via the combination of the internal life and the external world. From the perspective of experience, education essence and purpose, and education process and value have been discussed and analyzed. The paper also points out that education is the experience of one's life and the process of education is a unity of participation, understanding and personalization, and the value of education lies in awakening, molding and transcending. This paper attempts to use experience to solve some disadvantages in education, to use experience to realize the combination of education and human being's life, the combination of education process and educated bodies and minds, and the combination of education value and people's soul. Furthermore, the tactics of education on how to guide and improve the individual ability of experience have been discussed.
