Studies On The Cause Of And The Control Over The Breeding And Spread Of The Destructive Cults In Contemporary Chinese

How to anti destructive cult should be an important part of the research of social problems. This paper is on the causes of and the controlling measures of destructive cult. At first, the paper analysis the foreign and civil scholars' definitions of destructive cult and draw out my idea. Then draw up some main sates of the destructive cults in our country. At the second part, the paper analysis what cause the cults breed and spread. It is discovered that pursuit profit makes the destructive cult-owners to build the organizations. However, the poverty and the defect of social security cause some people attend the organizations. At the other hand, the lacking of resource and pollution also give the cults chance to preach their sermon. Certainly, the weakness of social control and the effect of corruption are both of political causes. From cultural perspective, it can be pointed out that with the accumulation of historical cult culture and the spread presently of superstition, the characteristic of people's mind at transit period form the conditions of which the destructive cults broke out. At last, the paper proposes some control measures. The paper stresses the necessity of shape science spirit and humanity spirit, and point out we must depend on law to anti destructive cult.
