By the end of the 1950s', the education of the literature has come to a short-time flouring period by establishing a huge system and separating the Chinese from literature, teaching program from the literary works. In the early 60s' language and literature using as a tool became the guiding theory in the development of education in middle schools. So the education of literature has come to a low period for more than 20 years under the powerful interruption of linguistics. From the middle of 80s', the education of literature was focused again and came to another prosperous time by calling for human nature especially after the discussion on the education of the language and literature and publishing the new standards as well as new teaching works in 1997.Inspecting the change and development of literature education in the PRC is for us to have a historic view of the regulation on that while putting the theory and practice in a specified condition.The main problem in the education of the literature falls on being settled on the method not the aims of education and leads it far away from literature to politics. The basic character of education is human nature. The education on literature come to a wrong area and hasn't become the place to produce and develop the personality, character and creativity.We think that the literature education of junior school should be based on the human nature spiritually, and make clear the experience, communication and creation of teaching ideas . In terms of the teaching method, we should realize the connection with traditional Chinese teaching experiences , with fresh accepting psychological characteristics , and with student's literature reading behaviors.
