This research tries to understand the present condition of the educational contents methods and ways of junior students of Shanxi province by interview and questionnaire survey. In order to understand the present condition of values education of the junior students in Shanxi Province, this research uses the plait of the questionnaire about the basic problem of values education, the questionnaire of the contents of values education, the questionnaire about the methods about values education and the questionnaire of media effect to values education to study the values education, and study the relationship between the contents, the methods, the ways of values education, the relationship between Ethics Demonstrating Schools and the Non-ethics Demonstrating Schools,the difference in the contents and the methods of the values education, and the difference in the methods and the contents in schools, families, society in the values education. This research integrates the quantitive research method and qualitative research method. In order to demonstrate the present condition of the contents methods and the ways of values education of the junior students in Shanxi Province, we interviewed three teachers, three students and two parents. And we issue the questionnaire to 650 students,130 teacher,130 parents to examine and support the findings. The findings of this research are: (l)The condition of junior students' values condition has some dissatisfied places,but totally aggressive.(2)The values is an educational result by schools and optimally starts from the junior high school.(3) TV has exerted the greatest influence on the junior student's values, thus we should make full use of its positive influence, function of the public's media effectively.(4) The result of questionnaire shows that there is difference in some contents of values education, but there is no difference in the methods of values education between male and female junior students, and between the only-child and non-only-child.There is great difference in educating the contents and the education methods between the Ethnic Demonstrating Schools and the Non-ethnic Demonstrating Schools.
