Study is an important way of one's socialization. Without study, we could not become social men who are necessary for the pass of social culture and social development. The process of socialization is the one during which individuals learn social culture, and become social men from nature men. As a behavior during one's whole life, study occupies a very important position in individuals' childhood, especially with the specialization of education, the most import thing when one is a child should do is to study social culture.The thesis is based on the relative statistic data of the investigation of the children's growing environment in Wuhan city in 2004, and investigate how family environment influences children's study behavior quantitatively and the degree of this influence. According to the exam-oriented education institution and single-child policy, I inquire the social source of the education atmosphere and the children's study pressure in the family environment. From this inquire, in order to improve the study behavior and capability of children, the thesis puts forward how to cooperate the family education with children's study behavior in schools.There are five parts in the thesis. First part The Introduction starts with the research theme, explains the theory meaning and realistic meaning, studies current research situation both at home and abroad .It also introduces the research design and approaches in detail.Based on the qualitative data, through the determination and measurement of the research variables ( dependent variables and independent variables), the second and the third parts analyze the basic condition of children's study behavior in Wuhan City descriptively with the statistic data and further analyze how the family environment influence the children's study behavior. From the perspective of social institution transformation, I discussed the education pressure that the urban families face and the education expectation for the children, which results from this pressure. Therefore, in order to accelerate the building of learning society and provide a good basis of talented people for the social development, the final part of this thesis bring forward how to stimulate the children's study passion, improve children's study behavior and level.
