The educational technology has the very intense practical orientation, but because this practical orientation is too powerful, it causes the researchers of educational technology can be unable to stop to think some basic theory questions, and be far away from asking educational technology some ultimate questions about educational technology. So it has caused that afer semicentennial developing educational technology still exit some questions such as confusing, the reality helpless, deficient theory, although it has obtained many encouraging performance, but it is unsuitable that educational technology is the commanding point of education reform and the breach status. Facing these conditions, educational technology needs carry on reviewing and looking up in historical and reality multiple field, needs integrate and conclude for obtained studying results, needs reflect on own level, and need to have the big breakthrough in the discipline elementary theory construction.The educational technique methodology analyzes the question with the dialectical materialism and the historical materialism methodology which is existing in our country. It includes that the relation among educational technology essence, educational technology and other subjects and theory and practical integration about educational technology. The educational technique methodology consult sufficiently the studying result of the natural sciences and the social sciences, especially the newest progress of systems science research, reconsidering the intrinsic structure of educational technology, established the educational technique practice above the new scientific methodology foundation.This article described the educational technique practice methodology system initially, proposed its system constituted by the philosophy method, the general method and the special method. The philosophy essential method of educational technology is the materialistic dialectics and the historical materialism. Its general method is the system approach which is the viewpoint of teaching system design and educationalinformation processing. And this paper also analyzed the characteristic of educational technology which include multianalysis, polytropism, integration and practice. We thought it should followed the principle which is the integration of history and logic, the integration of the relation and the critique, and inheriting and development. We also make the attempt that use the system method in the study support system.
