It is an important movement that social functions are separated from enterprises. This action can deepen the innovation of state enterprises, ease state enterprises' burden, realize the separation of government and corporations, increase state enterprises' competition capability, and consummate socialism market economy. In November, 2004, Dongfeng Motor Corporation relegated its high schools and elementary schools to Shiyan local government according to the principle of making over wholly, establishing entity, arranging plan separately and managing by local governments. This action was also based on the spirit of the announcement about experimental job of the separation of government and central corporations from the state department. At the same time, the company established DongFeng Education Group for managing those schools. Dongfeng Motor Corporation is a huge state enterprise and experimental unit of the separation of government and central corporations. Therefore, Dongfeng can provide valuable experiences for other state enterprises from the separation process.The thesis introduces the background and the scheme of the separation. Moreover, the article has described the elaborate analysis about the problems from the scheme implementation. In addition, the advantages of scheme have been pointed in this thesis. On the other hand, the problems from the amalgamation process of separated DongFeng high schools and elementary ones with local education, which exist in the fields of the system, culture concept, institution overlapped and outlay, have also been included. The thesis indicates forward suggestions for how to solve those problems.Furthermore, this thesis introduces some methods about separation process of state enterprises with their high schools and elementary ones applied in other regions. And it indicates that this kind of separation is a trend of current society, therefore, different regional state enterprises should adjust measures to local conditions for vindicating the legal profit and maintaining the stable education staffs by adopting different separation models, constituting feasible and exoteric scheme. Finally, the government should establish relevant policies to guarantee the successful progress of the work, which can ensure the continuous, healthy and stable development of the separated high schools and elementary schools.
