The Current Situation Of Orienteering In College And University Of Hubei And The Study Of Its Coping Strategies

Orienteering in our country is a new sport. It is a physical fitness and wisdom integrated fashion sport. Its unique characteristics and the form of projects, compared with other sports, reflect nicely the training advantages for the goals of student's mental health and ability of social adaptation. This sport is deeply loved by the people and recommended by the education organizations.This study is based on checking a great deal of cultural heritage, taking the athletics teachers of college and university in Hubei as the research object. Comprehensively use questionnaires, expert interviews, comparative analysis, numerical statistics and several types of research methods to analyze the orienteering's teaching present situation of college and university in Hubei and analyze the affecting factors of orienteering teaching and popularity, in order to explore the development strategies this sport in college and university of Hubei. Specific findings as follows:1. The degree of the orienteering's popularity in Hubei university is relatively low; The basic situation of the orienteering teachers is better, but there are fewer ways for them to obtain the professional education; Goal-orientation of this sport pay more attention to the development of the student's physical and mental health and abilities; the orienteering teaching materials and courses did not form a unified standard system; The structure of the teaching content is not reasonable, and the teaching hours is relatively less; teaching place selection, teaching course control and the indicators of teaching evaluation still has not shaken off from the traditional sport teaching ideas.2. The main factors that affects the orienteering teaching of college and university in Hubei is the leadership, funding input; the main factors that affect the popularity of this sport is the publicity and student's interest; the most important influencing factors that affect the teaching and popularity is the student's interest, leadership attention and funding input.3.
