The Research On Training High School Students' Mathematics Application Awareness

Entering knowledge economy times,Maths has developed into a science which keepspace with social science and natural science different from natural science .The social needfor maths is becoming much greater . The society need people to grasp more mathsknowledge,to learn to use maths language and technology, to learn thinking in maths andquantitative thinking and set up a correct maths outlook. People's understanding of mathsimportance brings a new subject that is worth thinking to the maths teacher, that is , how tocombine maths with realistic life and make better use of maths to solve the realistic problems .In this background ,New course standards put forward an idea that we should pay attention todeveloping the consciousness of the students' in applying maths .This article inquires and analpzes thd present situation of senion middle school studentsin consciousness of maths applying, and probe the cause of indifference in maths applying .To counter the present situation and the characteristic of understanding of the senior students,under the instruction of the new course theory , the article unites theory with practice, probehow to develop the consciousness of the senior students in maths applying . The articledevelops the strategies in detail from three parts , that is ,stinulating the motive of thestudents' studying , paying attention to class teaching , constructing the teaching mode inmany ways , and use suitable teaching cases. The purpose of this article is to try to find theway to develop the consciousness of the students in applying maths to mix maths with theirqualities and to make it become a part of their world outlook through practice and probing.
