Chinese teaching is facing a wide and a deep world of language ,meanwhile taking the responsibilities which will cultivate students to have the spirit of advancing freely and independent personality. This article carries out the research based on comparing with the traditional communication teaching .The new method, teaching Chinese via communication, appears according to the New Standard of Chinese class, the theory on communication teaching ,constructive theory ,the requirements of the communicative society and the transform of modern new knowledge. Teaching the Chinese language via communication treats teachers and students as independent individuals and emphasizes more mutual communications between them, which will really improve teaching and learning. It embodies the features that are the principle part of teaching, mutual activity, creativity and the opening of multi-factors. So before it expresses the tactics of teaching Chinese via communication,the article emphasizes the importance of both knowledge and ability and also points out shortcomings of solo-teaching in practice. The article also makes clear and accurate requirements upon teachers and deeply analyzes the communications between teachers and students, among students themselves, and the ways ofcommunicating with texts. At the same time, it points out that the reasonable assessing system on the method of teaching Chinese via conversation should be built which will assess the course from different aspects, and make the most of assessing system via communicating .At last, it summarizes the idea that teaching Chinese via communication corresponds the spirits of the time which have characteristic like democracy, equality, communication, cooperation, mutual activities and contact. As a new teaching method. Communicative teaching methodology undoubtedly will replace the traditional solo-teaching. The contemporary communicative teaching of Chinese is not only a succession of splendid traditional human culture ,but also a suit for the current tide that calls for communication in 21st century.
