The Research Of Intelligent Distance Teaching System Based On Agent

As the popularization and application of the network technology in all fields, the distance instruction has already become a research subject paid much more attention in the education field. But current distance teaching systems mostly have defects in designing, which make the system lack of intelligence and flexibility. So it is difficult to supply the individual study coach in terms of student's discrepancy in learning. Moreover, the quality of distance teaching can't be ensured.Through in-depth investigation and analysis, as to the shortage of some distance teaching system, we proposed an idea to better it in this paper. Regarding adaptive learning theory as guidance, we introduced agent technology and integrated the maturity technology of intelligent teaching system, then constructed network intelligent teaching system based on agent in the idea.During the process of designing and realizing network intelligent teaching system based on agent, the research work of the following several respects has been mainly done in this paper:â‘ We constructed B/A/S three layer structure in system design , namely adaptive function display layer, agent layer and resource layer. The three layers structure incarnates guidance of adaptive study theory and principle of introducing agent technology and integrating the maturity technology of the intelligent teaching system in the stand-alone instance.â‘¡The paper analyzed in detail to primary function of agent, including the student agent, teacher agent, management agent and cooperative learning agent .(3)A network teaching system has been fundamentally funded and it synthetically used agent skill.The distance instruction based on agent can test and judge the student's knowledge characteristic and learning style. According to knowledge characteristic and learning style of student, the system can provide adaptive learning space. The system realized adaptive learning on the whole. And Microsoft agent was used in system function to enhance personal abilities. Meanwhile, individuation can draw students' attention and enhance the charm of distance instruction system.In conclusion, this paper is a summary of research and exploration about network teaching. How to improve interaction, intelligence, navigation of network teaching system in accordance of their aptitude still need constant further study and development.
