This dissertation investigates and researches on the learning burnout of undergraduate, which has been more and more serious. Firstly, the development of the learning burnout theory is briefly reviewed in this dissertation. For revealing status of learning of undergraduate, a questionnaire about learning burnout is designed and put in practice. The relative factor of learning burnout is studied based the questionnaire and its result, such characters and reasons of learning burnout. And the methods of prevention is discussed briefly, this discussion is based the analysis of the causes learning burnout. Based the research above, the conclusion is follow: I. the definition of learning burnout is redefined, learning burnout is a phenomena, during the long time, continuous and coercive study process, both physically and mentally exhaustion of the student is emerged, and the relevant opposed behavior. II there are two aspects of representation about learning burnout, natural dimension and social dimension. III The stage of happening and development of learning burnout as follow: honey period—exhausted period—crisis period. IV. The origin mainly includes three aspects: society, the environment of education and individual. V. The theory of prevention and cure: the best way to prevent and cure the learning burnout is complementing resource because during the study process, the students often show some condition bringing ennui by lacking of resource or losing resource time and again. VI. The prevention and cure includes external and internal parts to complement and implement jointly.
