The state council pointed out in the suggestions on strengthening and improving ideological and political education on college students that ideological and political education on college students should have the all-round development of college students, be practical and advance with times so as to realize human-orientation. It set the direction for ideological and political education in college in this new era.This thesis is directed by Marxism human-oriented idea and examines the connotation of human-orientation. The author expounds the significance of human-orientation in ideological and political education in college, analyzes its loss and the causes. The author emphasizes that it is necessary to integrate human-orientated idea in the education and proposes multiple measures.The thesis is divided into three parts:In chapter 1, the author will discuss the necessity of human-oriented moral education in college. First, we will discuss the significance of establishing human-oriented moral education in college in terms of the essential requirement of scientific development view, the important guarantee of building the harmonious society and the trend of moral education in college. Second, we will analyze the characteristics of collegial moral education, including the dislocation of moral education subject, the disconnection of moral education content and real life and moral education lacking feasibility and moral education stressing political activity and degenerating into mere formality and oversimplified methods of moral education. Finally, we will investigate the social and educational causes and the inherent causes.In chapter 2, the author probes the scientific connotation of human-oriented moral education in college. First, we will investigate the theoretical origin of the idea of human orientation from Chinese history, western history and Marxism. Second, we will introduce the development of human-orientated idea by four generations of core leaders. Third, we will analyze the human-oriented connotation in moral education, which is for the growth and development of students, to mobilize subject consciousness in students and to cultivate people-oriented students.In chapter 3, we will introduce measures of human-oriented collegial moral education. Firstly, we should promote human-oriented concept in educational belief that is to establish the primary position of moral education in collegial education, to deal with teaching and research and to deal with being a good person and becoming teaching practice. The author conducts analyses from aspects of teaching a capable person. Secondly, we should promote individual education in objectives, teaching content, teaching methods and teaching channels. Finally, we should promote service concept in education management. To education in college integrate collective education and individual education and to integrate heteronomy and self-discipline.
