The internet medium indicates the BIT times which also brings a totally new language form, Network Language. The main users of network language are youth who are educated, knowing some foreign language and aware of network, especially the young students. These young students change a lot on the styles of their lives, studies, communications and thinking, etc. when compares with the last generations due to their particularities of physical and mental growing in this Net Age, forming their own subculture. Their communications, societies, studies and entertainments are mainly with network, so, subculture comes together with network.As a branch of cultures, subculture is the specialty of different regional and group cultures and formed by various social and natural elements. It does not only have the basic features of the native culture such as the language and words, behavior models, etc. but also have its own specialty. The subculture generation is the one with the values and behaviors dissociating from the main-culture with the characteristics of frequent interactions, particular behaviors, strong aggregations, and trends of anti-main-culture, etc. The youth is interceding for the conflicts between the subculture and the main-culture, the masses and the elites, showing its own individuality, creativity and free nature. During impressing of network medium, the young subculture generations are very observantly comprehending and accepting the common human cultures and the aesthetic productions of nature and science, which speed up the contacts between individuals and the world, make them enjoying the same benefits, emotions, feelings, interests and experiences given by the same nature. The language that they are using to communicate with each other grows up the subculture.In this paper, the writer studies network language from the angle of subculture by connecting them together, to understand the values, thinking modes of the young netizens as the support and reference for our innovation and improvements of education ideas and methods. The paper starts with the concept and characteristics of subculture, the goes on with network language from its concept and the difference between network language and traditional language. In the third chapter, the writer focuses on the sub-cultural specialties of network language lying in the following ones, the share of network tights the users, making the network language the marginalized specialty of subculture; network language through live communications highly depends on the at-sight situations, showing the marginalized specialty of subculture; the irregularity of network language is the outside performance of the users' rebelling psychology, showing the subversive characteristic of subculture; the abbreviations and recreations of network language reflect the real lives of the young netizens which can be treated as the modernistic characteristics of them, and the addition to the traditional language, showing the critical specialty of subculture; the rule of happiness in network communications also shows the critical specialty of subculture. In chapter four, the writer talks about the value and its regularization of subculture network language, then shows his expectation of the future of subculture network language based on the points above in chapter five. In the point of view of the writer, what the young netizens are trying for communications, societies in the virtual communities encourage them to actively participate and devote into the full new social roles; the existence of network language is objective not movable by some individual purpose, and it will keeps growing and developing in according to its own natural fundamentals as a branch of cultures.
