1990's are the most fast period for the women ice hockey development. It had many changes for the women ice hockey on the competition structures, technologies, tactics and the game speed. The development of the women ice hockey event in China is difference than the developed countries in Europe and America. The situations in China are as following: First, The amount of the women ice hockey players are very limited; Second, The excellent women ice hockey players are very limited; Thirds, China women ice hockey uses men's training methods for a long time. So the training methods are not so advanced especially for the women ice hockey event. Women ice hockey event is the official Olympic game event and also is one of the main study events of the Chinese Olympic games program. This article uses the materials way with the video tapes of Women World Championships, Olympic Winter Games and other important International Games from 1990 to 2005 to analyze their technologies and tactics. The mostly analyze is to the training difference level of the technologies and tactics between China and ice hockey developed countries. It shows on the results of the analyzes, Team-work willing is not strong enough, the methods are simple, timing is not so good, efficient is not high. And for the main problem in tactic training is lack of player tactic training.
