The Research Of The Peasant-Worker Function In Village's Development

The research of the peasant-work's function in village's development is not only the problem of peasant-worker, but also the problem of village's development. By examining the informed research on peasant-worker and rural daily life, this paper identified the weak points in the existing researches. So the paper putted forward ways on the full-dimensional social changes in the village by daily life theory from three aspects such as daily consumer world, daily association world and daily idea world, based on Licun Village in Sichuan Province. Furthermore, the paper concluded from three levels such as daily regimen, main bodies and social structure, and contributed to the theory with the following aspects:First, the daily consumer world has changed towards mediation, electrization and familiation fundamentally, by many new things via peasant-workers. It contains not only rich content and plural ways, but also the reconstruction of the daily regimen.Second, the daily association world has been more and more mediated, because of social mobility of the main body and the using of modern communication medias, overcoming the limitations of domain and time in traditional association. Meanwhile, the characteristics of "structure of grade" appears to change from leading dignity to economic consciousness, but it is not enough to waver the core position of blood relationship and geographical relations because of the coincidence of .the three.Third, the daily idea world also has changed along with the other daily worlds, by analyzing people's idea about five aspects such as native things, marriage and birth,, consumer, association and leisure. Meanwhile, this paper showed us the relationships and conflicts between and modernity by analyzing the changing and unchanging, and show out the explanatory power of culture lag theory.Forth, the paper shows that peasant -worker function in village's development is all-round and multi-level. It contains the reconstruction of daily regimen in micro level, the modernization of villagers staying behind and peasant-workers in medium level, and the reconstruction of social structure, such as culture structure and power structure.Finally, by examining the function of three main bodies who push forward village's development, the paper shows that peasant-workers is the most important main body in such a village as Licun village. They are playing a more important part than the other two main bodies."stay-at-home"people is affected by people social mobility ."out-village"people, as a so-called"the third force", does not play its role due to village's development.
