University is more complex than any other organizations,because University has two sets of deep-rooted cultural system:Endogenous,unlimited pursuit of knowledge on the basis of subject culture;Organizational culture based on institutions and cultural entities. University faculty which is placed under the authority of two systems belongs to two entirely different forms of cultural organization. Great authority is located in working level,where faculty is not only expert of a special field,but also works for specific institutions of higher education.It has such a complex system though,all the works of University here are just for one basis,however. It is suggested that all the kinds of Colleges and Universities'activities and outputs,and even the nature of knowledge itself,lies with the culture of subjects,universities and colleges,and the norms and values of academic system,or even the country's higher education system rooted in the "collective thinking" in all kinds of "thinking style". Academic and cultural system has become the second basic element of university. Faculty, as a bearer of two cultural systems, has a dual identity. The dual identity includes specific rights and obligations,responsibility,loyalty,norms of a subject and a organization,and legalization reason for the rights, responsibilities and loyalty. Here,it is the culture of the University that is the very reason for the legalization.This study is based on two closely related concepts,"culture" and "identity",which are two logical starting points. An in-depth study will be done in related to the culture of University and the cultural identity of University faculty. On the basis of six interviews and one case study, according to ongoing findings,the proposal of building a University running feedback mechanism will be talked about. To implement feedback mechanisms,University must have some important assumptions created,and these basic assumptions are the value systems and ways of thinking of University,named University culture. In support of the corresponding basic assumptions,there should be also three necessary conditions:University's Corporationization,enhancing the influence of the invisible college's norms;Reshaping modern intellectuals'independent,critical value system and personality.
