The Situation And Strategy Caused From Scarcity For Chess Teaching Staff Of Primary School In Taiyuan City

The chess games are a healthy and beneficial sport including many factors such as competition, education, science, arts, and amusement came from other fields, which was also an art individually. On Feb 2nd, 2001, health and arts administration of national ministry of education joined with national sport ministry delivered a report about chess that concerned with Chinese chess, chess and go, which required that administrative department of different level should strength overall development of students and quality education based on the fact of local school and district, and is being turn it into a part of physical education and health. To popularize the chess games in primary school is not only help student develop well in every aspects, but also help them bring up their interest in chess games and away from unhealthy habit and to improve their living condition. At the same time those behavior above would be beneficial to inheritance and development of chess culture, and meanwhile afford basses for sustainable development and improvement of talent concerned with chess games.With the deliver of the notice about "three chess", there appeared a comprehensive campaign in various schools in China, but at the same time there existed some conflicts between shortage of chess staff project and the large requirement for chess staff. Chess staff plays an important role in school teaching and training, and the shortage of the staff in teaching chess influenced chess sport popularizing and spreading, and influenced auxiliary impact to student's education for all-round development, and influenced inheritance of world culture. Therefore, it is very important to establish policy that was related to the shortage of chess staff so as to solve problem related to this. The paper told us that the present situation of Taiyuan city and chess staff centralized in chess of primary school, and requirement for chess staff from parents and primary P.E teachers in data, question paper, interview and statistics way. The investigation shows us that:(1)Many presents could recognize that the education function of chess and the shortages of chess staff caused from current situation;(2)Serious shortage of chess staff in primary school and lack for ability to the chess staff existed;(3)Motive force is scarce for spreading of chess games for most teachers of P.E;(4)Specialty setting in many P.E. colleges narrowed gradually because of shortage of sport staff and education fund;(5)The organization related to chess did not go very well which lack for unity and cooperation sprits;(6)Leaders in primary school were inclined to benefit-oriented and less attach importance to talent usage;(7)Chess games went not very well for shortage of contribution and profession sprits of teaching staff recent years.For the sake of solving the shortage of teaching staff to sorts of chess and satisfying the high requirement for teaching staff, based on severe situation above, the writer shows us some idea below:(1)the chess management center should play its reasonable role for chess management and development; (2)Intensify efforts at the policy level support for chess games; (3)leaders who were in charged of primary school should establish good environment for chess teaching staff and talent echelon;(4)Regulate and adjust specialty setting based on social requirement;(5)Enhance profession ethics for teaching staff and establish thinking which served for people time and time;(6)Promote spreading and civilizing of chess games in Taiyuan city by expanding cooperation between officials and people.
