As China's new round of the basic education curriculum reform continues to deepen, the culture of curriculum increases people's attention as deep-seated factors and important goals of curriculum reform. From the perspective of culture, the curriculum reform of geography in senior high school is cultural transformation of curriculum essentially. The contents and features of culture of geography curriculum in senior high school are pointed out by studying the theories of culture of geography curriculum in senior high school in this paper. New culture of geography curriculum in senior high school should be constructed by analyzing the basic ideas of new curriculum reform and the features of geography curriculum in senior high school. New culture of curriculum should concern person's life and the value, conformity the humanistic spirit and the spirit of science, return to the life world and pay attention to communication, cooperation and inquisition. The problems are found out by investigating and analyzing the status quo of culture of geography curriculum in senior high school. According to the problems, the author discusses how to reconstruct the culture of geography curriculum in senior high school and put forward the basic idea for the reconstruction. Firstly, we should change the education ideas, grasp the ideas of new geography curriculum in senior high school, understand the existing culture of geography curriculum accurately, and realize the cultural consciousness of teachers. Secondly, the reconstruction should stick to the principle of student-centered development and the principle of teachers and students common participating. Thirdly, the ways to reconstruct the culture of geography curriculum in senior high school are put forward. The ways include building the hidden curriculum, developing school-based curriculum, constructing a good teacher-student relationship, creating the cultural atmosphere of communication, cooperation and inquisition and establishing the system of evaluation methods which promotes students to develop in an all-round way.
