With the introduction of the new curriculum standards of sports and health system and the development in teaching reform, in secondary schools, students'individual differences have got increasing concern in PE teaching. In junior high school basketball course, these individual differences, the technique differences in particular, have a great influence on class teaching. As a result, teachers should change their concepts, involve themselves in the reform, and try to seek the way for promotion.Fully aware of this difference, this research was made with groups of single-blind experiments were made in junior high school basketball teaching, in which different teaching strategy as independent variable, physical fitness, technical skills, motivation, as the dependent variables. Experimental classes used teaching strategies with the theory differences teaching and theory of Mosston mutually beneficial grouping division; the control classes no difference in group division. The main research methods are literature review, expert advice, experiments and mathematical statistics and so on. Careful research based on the difference classified teaching strategy is carried out in the aspects of main classification, defining objectives, content arrangements, teaching methods and the evaluation in junior high school basketball teaching. It is proved in theory and practice, that classification teaching strategy is effective in solving the difference problems in the process of teaching. Experiments show that compared to the usual method, the classification teaching strategy based on differences theory can develop the students'basic technical skills and inspire students'sports and learning motivation. It is conducive to"individual teaching forms in large class."It provides a valuable reference for physical education teachers in junior high school basketball teaching to deal with difference problems between students. In addition, it is helpful for other programs teaching in junior high school physical education.
