Since 1992,Chinese football market has formed with the development of market economy.However,during its further development, it began to experience some institutional problems.Now,Chinese football market is in the development of bottleneck.Because of the long-term depression,China football competitive level declined severely,and the game quality was annually declined.At the same time,the defects in the football market caused a lot of disorderly and malicious competition.So this made consumers distrust the football market finally.And people from all walks of life accused the issues of football market.Because of this, Chinese football market was being a stagnation of the developing trend. The market order was damaged seriously,the interests of market players could not be guaranteed,and the whole market was on the verge of collapse.There were many unfavorable factors during the development of Chinese football market.But we still haven't found the root cause of the problem.The author believes that we should learn the successful experience of the professional sports market.For example,the U.S. basketball market,U.K.and Japan football market are our best examples. Though the conditions among countries are different,their basic operation ideas of sports market are in the same.First,they had profound understanding and experience to the market economy.So they guided the country's sports resources for market-oriented allocation.They created the sport products to meet the need of consumers in order to achieve the market goal of benefits.Second,the reason for the development and expansion of the three countries' professional sports market was that they based on the market-oriented operation.The ultimate goal of market system reform and innovation was to internalize the potential profits outside the market institution and finally achieve the goal of maximizing the interests of market.So the institutional change of these three countries' sports market was endogenous.And it could be recognized as induced institutional change.Comparing with abroad professional sports market, we could find the root cause which hindered the development of Chinese football market——our football competition products were still recognized as public goods and the market mechanism was not formed.Of course,the football market could not development and expansion through endogenous institution.What we need is institutional change,but not temporary supply of remedial institution.This article will use comparison studies,data analysis,historical research methods basing on the supply and demand in microeconomics theory and institutional change of new institution economics theory.It will also use foreign football market research information and other related documents to analyze the institution of Chinese football market.The article will focus on the comparison with abroad successful sports market to find the fundamental issues and make recommendations on the development of China football.
