Special education is mainly the education for children with disabilities or barriers with physical and mental development. Special education is an important part in China's national education system. The quality of the disabled can be improved, the potential of the disabled can be found, the ability to survive and to take part in social activities can be improved by means of special education. There is a large gap between the current level of development of china's special education and developed countries in the world. So building up a group of special education teachers with sufficient quantity, good quality, reasonable structure and relatively stable becomes the key to accelerate the development of special education, improve the quality of special education as well as the disabled. The study takes the present situation of teachers in special schools as the starting point in consideration. What's more, it reveals the existing problems and the causes of problem. At the same time, it put forward constructive solutions of the problems of teachers in special schools through the comparative study of the literature both at home and abroad.Based on the above ideas, this paper mainly includes the following four aspects: Introduction Part introduces the subjects of the study, the research objectives, research methodology as well as defines and analyzes the key concepts involved.The first part expounds on the significance of improving special education teachers.The second part introduces the current situation of teachers in Jilin's special schools. The chapter mainly analyzes the existing problems and causes of the problem in special schools.The third part expounds on the ideas of solving the problems from the aspect of concept, the teachers'access conditions, the education and training of teachers, the pay teachers receive and the exchange mechanism of teachers.
