In the history of human education, the space of educational activities has changed three times qualitatively. The first change has taken place in the period of the primitive society. The clan elders guide the younger generation to follow the life experience, education itself has not been separated from the production of social life, there is no specific educational institutions and full-time teachers, the space of education is "The Nature", the signal for work and rest is "The sunup and the sunset". Education in this period is relatively free, whether in space or time, it occurs, develops and changes accompanying the life process. The second has taken place as the emergence of modern school and the appearance of class as a form of organization (that is, institutionalized education).Education space has to be compressed from the original "Nature" andrelatively loose form of multi-space to a limited range------the classroom, in which aseries of tasks of educating and teaching has to be completed in a limited time. Education space at this time is the product of the education socialization. As a part of social space, although it regulates the conduct of education and the inner process of educational system, the institutionalized education space makes the education objects as the objects of the educator collective and the "product" of a society, the relationship between teachers and students breaks, becomes power-oriented and abstractive, resulting in further paradox about socialization and personalization in the process of education. The third change of the education space is taking place and developing at present as the occurrence of "cyberspace" represented by the digital revolution, it puts education to a post- historical and post-geographical change. As a breakthrough and resolution of the institutionalization of education space, it will change the understanding of the basic concept "space" from the historical significance of education, and change the education space from the practice space stage to the representation space stage, and realize people's interaction between each other from a new experienced dimension.From the three changes of education space, we can see that the process of education development and evolution is a process of gradual division and alienation of its form, and the differentiation of education form has a direct result to the division and change of education space. Consequently, the basic ideas of this study is to research and study these three historical changes in education (from the perspective of space evolution).In the evolution process of the education space, school education, which relies on a number of physical entities (such as: walls, classrooms, desks, platforms and so on), firstly separated from the nature (the fields, villages, the sky), continuously highlighted the education space from the material level; in the transformation process of information space, the practicality of the space gradually separated from the material level, so that the basic education space is full of symbolic system, and it gradually transforms from the material space into a new virtual space. Let's make comprehensive survey about the development of education space, the latter stage is always the subversion of the previous one and beyond of it. Education is gradually mature and improved on the constantly negative road.The evolution of education space is actually a course of evolution from non-formal education to formal education, from non-institutionalized education to institutionalized education, and then subverting the institutionalized education. In this process, education at different stages has different forms and different requirements of the education system accordingly. It is very important for sorting the thinking of education development to research all stages of the education system and its state of existence from the perspective of space.Historical experience shows that every scientific and technological change will cause a revolutionary change in education itself, and the evolution of education space will also bring about the revolution in education. Heterogeneous space is a trend that can not be stopped gradually invaded people's lives and education, becoming a new lifestyle. In the catalysis of network technology, the entire education system has undergone enormous changes, and carried on deep integration and reconstruction. As times changes, the new space is "hiddenly" stretching to education, and tremendously attacting education space to a field with unlimited extension. In the context of the great digital revolution, in the imminent practice of education reform, the new values -whether good or bad - will strike our society. For the new things, we should seize its nature from its roots ,be aware of both its positive side and its negative impact, making a correct direction for the development of education.This study makes thorough and systematic study and discussion by using historical research, comparative study, logical reasoning and method of Originology. This thesis has five parts: I , concept, explain and analyse "space" and some related concepts; II, the first stage of education space, study and analyse education space and education forms in the primitive society; III, the second phase of education space, systematically research and analyse the education space of "institutionalization" and education form in modern times; IV, the third phase of education space, mainly analyse and make a prospect about the "network" education space and education reform contemporarily and in the future; V, review and outlook for the educational space.
