Postgraduate education, a higher level education in the higher education system after the undergraduate education, takes the responsibility of cultivating talents and plays a decisive role in the socio-economic development. Only the postgraduate student who does and will have a good health can make a greater contribution to the social construction. The solution to the health problem of the postgraduate student is to pay attention to physical exercise and form the habit of a lifetime physical activity in the university. Using the method of documentary, questionnaire survey, the mathematic and the logic, this paper makes a research on the full-time postgraduates in Henan province about their current situation of physical exercise in order to have a comprehensive understanding of the current situation and the regularity of their physical exercise. Then the paper finds out the existing problems, analyzes the influencing factors of physical exercise and provides some suggestions in order to supply reference for the PE decision-making departments of colleges and universities in Henan province to organize and manage the postgraduates' physical activity. The research shows that: 1 .The number of fresh college graduates is much more than the preceding-year-graduates, which covers a long age span and brings some difficulties in the development of physical activity. And the majority of the living expenses derive from their family; the minority is from the school subsidy and part-time job 2. Postgraduates have an active attitude to the physical exercise. Their increasing motivations are entertainment, hobbies, relieving stress and strengthening the body. According to the gender, man is inclined to hobbies and woman is inclined to weight-losing and bodybuilding. 3. The majority of postgraduates know the Nation-wide Fitness Program superficially without any deep understanding of its specific content. Only the minority of postgraduates know the "lifetime sports". Most postgraduates know some basic knowledge and skills incomprehensively. And male students know better than female ones. 4. Only 35% postgraduates take exercise above three times a week. Most postgraduates mainly choose to take exercise with companions in their school's public places in the morning, at noon and in the evening. And most postgraduates aren't satisfied with the sports occasions which cannot meet the need of physical exercise. 5. The physical activities postgraduates increasingly like are body-building exercises, swimming, basketball, table tennis, badminton and running. Male students prefer to choose sports which have more physical contact and high antagonism; while female students prefer to choose body-building sports which are suitable and have no physical contact. 6. Most postgraduates take an active attitude toward the offering of PE course, through which they want to obtain some physical knowledge and skills. It shows that postgraduates want to increase their initiative and enthusiasm to the physical exercise through offering the PE course. 7. For postgraduates, they own a lower level of sport consumption and a relatively single sport consumption structure. And the material consumption is higher than the non-material consumption. The influencing factors of the postgraduate's physical exercise in Henan province are laziness, the inadequate of the physical places and facilities, heavy study, the weather, the irregular life, the lack of guidance and so on. Finally, based on the influencing factors of the full-time postgraduate's physical exercise in colleges and universities of Henan province, the paper provides some corresponding suggestions with the hope of offering some reference to the relevant departments.
