The new mathematics curriculum reform advocates an educational philosophy that mathematics teaching should focus on students' hands-on experience, self-inquiry, and enable students to experience the process of mathematical discovery. Introducing experiments into mathematical training is in line with the new philosophy of reform of math teaching. Being carrying out wider in middle schools, mathematical experiments have become the lightspot of math teaching reform.Based on research into math experiments both home and abroad, analysis of the learning and teaching of math in secondary vocational schools, and experience in advanced math experiments, this paper focuses on how to carry out the experiment of mathematics in secondary vocational schools. This essay includes the following four parts:The first part analyses the background and significance of the study, and explains the inevitability and necessity of introducing methodical experiment into secondary vocational education.The second part defines the concept of mathematical experiment and explained the classification and characteristics of mathematical experiments for secondary vocational students.The third part analyses the theoretical support for introducing experiments in mathematical teaching in secondary vocational, explains major procedures of carrying out the experiments, and makes case studies.The fourth part evaluates and reflects upon the effectiveness of introducing experiments in mathematical teaching. Research results show that introducing experiments in mathematical teaching in secondary vocational school can stimulate students' interest, enhance their enthusiasm for and ability of math study, thus promoting their all-round development.The paper ends with a summary of the content of the paper, pointing out the defects of the research and putting forward new subjects for further research.
