For hundreds of years the propagation of tai jiquan technique has been done mostly through the oral and body (practice) transmission. Along that, the written taijiquan theory has been done only through the Chinese traditional concepts, so only by understanding Chinese traditional culture it is possible to apprehend taijiquan's practice requirements. This undoubtedly obstructs its development and dissemination. In the process of taijiquan transmission, this possible lack of scientific method leads to mistakes which conflicts with the taijiquan theory. In addition, on its teaching process, Western methods of teaching it as aerobic exercises are blindly used thus breaking away from taijiquan's essence, causing the incomplete transmission of the art. Therefore for the process of taijiquan's standardization, scientizing and internationalization, it requires the scientific methods of its qualitative and quantitative analyses and research, integrating taijiquan's valuable experiences with the scientific methods, creating a contemporary scientific method and forming a standardized movement for taijiquan, making a step further in the creation of taijiquan's theoretical system. On this study, it was used QUALISYS-MCU500 Motion Capture System(6 lenses, frequency 50 Hz) to capture yemanfenzong routine of Yang style taijiquan, analyzing and comparing different developmental levels of taijiquan practice. It was used biomechanical method to analyze its movement characteristics-in particular, its spiral motion characteristics. It is mainly described by the spiral movement of the shoulders, chest and hip, and the movement's technical rationality is also diagnosed, analyzed, explained and evaluated, in order to provide data support for the existing abstract theory of tai jiquan, and to provide theoretical basis for future teaching and research. The analysis and statistics approach done to the obtained data lead to the following results: (1) In the yemafenzong routine, the characteristics of the movement of the shoulders/chest and the hip are coherent. That's because the spine connects shoulders and hip, making them move as a connected system, therefore making them both having the same kinematics characteristics.(2) The analysis of the XYZ axis dislocation data and the XYZ axis rotation angle data indicates that both shoulders-chest and hip move in spiral movements. In the X axis dislocation range of motion, both Y and Z axis rotation angle movement is big. In the Z axis dislocation range of motion, X axis rotation angle movement is small.(3) In order to maintain the body's straight posture, creating a favorable body rotating axis, a correspondent change in the movement is performed.
