As the continuous development of society and the integration of market economy, people become eager towards knowledge with soon updating information. Teachers, as the passers of knowledge, should adjust their knowledge system and improve their teaching level. Continuing education for teacher provides a good platform for improving teachers'general quality structure. With the implement of new course evolution, music course is being treated more and more important. Study on continuing education for teacher has get obvious achievement not only on education theory but also on education practice. But in some far countryside, the continuing education is far from the teachers'teaching practice due to the lack of pertinence and practicability of the course setting. At the same time, since the blank of countryside music teachers' continuing education, the effect of music teachers'continuing education is not positive. Compare with urban music teacher, countryside music teacher's teaching theory and method are old, the level of teaching is low, even lots of them are not aware of the new course standard. So it is urgent to start continuing education for primary and middle school music teacher in countryside. This question for study, based on the new course evolution, is to find the existed problems and reasons of Xiangtan countryside, Hunan Province by analyzing the situation of continuing education for countryside music teacher, then offer practical measures and solutions. So this question for study is of great importance for promoting the theory and practice of continuing education for countryside music teacher.This thesis is made up of four parts:part one is the statement of continuing education for teacher, including the origin of continuing education, meaning of continuing education for teacher and present situation and relative study of continuing education in and abroad; part two is the research and analysis of present situation of continuing education for primary and middle school music teacher in Xiangtan countryside, Hunan Province, including the basic structure and situation of music teacher, purpose of teachers to take continuing education, course containing and teaching method of continuing education, how helpful continuing education is for music teacher's teaching, the source of music teacher's continuing education fee and the research of evaluation and examine of continuing education for music teacher as well as the analysis of problems and reasons; part three is the purpose of continuing education for countryside teacher under the new course evolution, including changing teacher's traditional thoughts, improving teacher's quality structure and general teaching level; part four is the study of statics of continuing education for teacher which is practical, including strengthening dissemination, establishing reasonable rules, setting flexible courses, expanding teaching mode, enrich the teaching model, and advocating diversifying evaluation.The main purpose of this thesis can be summed up in two points:1,According to the introduction of the present situation and disadvantage of continuing education for countryside music teacher in Xiangtan countryside, Hunan Province, reflect the basic present situation of continuing education for Chinese countryside music teacher, then provide the fresh means for establishing the tastics of continuing education for music teacher.2,Set a series of constructive and practical opinions and suggestion just to the present situation of continuing education for music teacher in Xiangtan countryside, Hunan Province, and guide the music teaching practice in various districts of countryside.
