A Research For The Construction Of College Teacher's Professional Ethics

With the development of the education reform and the epoch going, Teacher'work ethics, the civilized eternal theme of human beings is developing in inheriting. At present, our society has stepped into the 21 century, We strongly feel the new century requires people's development and historical mission which education has undertaken. College is the important base where the talented persons are brought up. it is a highland also where the talented persons gather together. College teachers are the important force in our country who can create something new, and shoulder the historical mission of passing on civilization, nurturing talent, performing scientific researches,and serving society. The condition of college teacher's professional ethics is directly connected with the college development and talents'cultivation and the construction of our socialism.The article is divided into 3 parts. The author analysed the present conditions of the teachers' work ethics construction and research for it,, and tried to find out the countermeasure of strengthening the college teacher's work ethics builting. College Teacher's Work Ethics refers to the behaviour standard and essential moral that the college teachers should follow when they engage in the career.(That is the ideological moral and work ethics which the college teacher should have).The characteristic of college teacher's profession decided the importance and particularity of teacher's work ethics.College teacher's work ethics have 4 main specific features.They are:Strong social sense of responsibility and sense mission;High level of ethic consciousness; The rigorous nature of scientific research and creative spirit.It is very important for education and the development of society to strengthen the construction of college teacher's ethics. Strenghtening the construction of college teacher's ethics is the need to cultivate the all-round talents,it is the need to raise the teacher's quality,it to build harmonious school campus, to promote the development of all-sidedly society.At present,the main stream of the teachers in college is good.They insist on the leadership of the our communist party of china,(and) support the guideline and policy of the our Communist party of china,praise highly democracy and equality, just, honesty, keeping promise,(and) insist on the principle of collectivism;They love education career,Their thoughts are liberated,(and) keeping for going ahead,They carry out their duties and guard and dare to create something new.But,as affirming the main aspect,we can see some problems of teacher's work ethics. for example:ideological political quality and level of theory should be raised;the standard of morality is low,(and) the spirit of professional dedication is diluted;They emphasize scientific education and despise humanism education;They lack honesty in scientific research and academic article.The main reasons are:(1) a social problem;(2) a mistake in the construction of virtue;(3) the teacher's problems themselves.So,in order to solve the problems and strengthen college teacher's work ethics building, we should take measures as follow:In social aspect:we should insist on the socialist core value system, strengthen the teacher's ethics and build the consciousness of value;we should insist on the correct medium guiding,so that the teachers can be respected, the education can be taken seriously; we should strengthen the construction of the system of law and regulations,so that the virtue building can be standardized and institutionalized gradually. In college we should set up the management thought that people are the base of all foundation; and perfect the enduring effect educational mechanism; perfect the mechanism of choosing talented person;perfect the academic evaluation mechanism; perfect the restraint and inspiration mechanism. In teacher's aspect:establishing the lofty target of struggling and pursuiting; possessing the concept of studying in whole life;strengthening shelf -cultivation.The key of this article is to find the college countermeasure of the teacher's work ethics builting, From country,school, and teacher three aspect,the author tried to make the systematization mechanism of the teacher's work ethic, Tryied to eatablise and perfect the lasting mechanism of the virtue builting from aspect of school, We will do some benefit tries and probes for strengthening the college teacher's work ethics building.
