As an important part of teachers' professional development,teachers' professional morality has been paid more and more attention by education theorists and the society.But in the real education situation,people's understanding of teachers' professional morals still exist many deviations,and it is not uncommon that teachers' professional morals equate to teachers' professional ethics.Based on this,this study first defines the connotation and characteristics of teachers' professional morality and distinguishes teachers' professional ethics from teachers' professional ethics.Secondly,combing the history of the development of teacher's professional ethics since the founding of new China.Thirdly,in order to further clarify the essential characteristics of teachers' professional ethics,teachers' professional ethics content and stages of development are more clear and clear.This study builds up a moral development theory model including teachers' professional ethics,teachers' professional morality development stages,teachers' professional moral evaluation and teachers' professional ethics development level.After having a complete and accurate understanding of teachers' professional ethics,this study analyzes the dilemma faced by teachers' professional ethics development in China and sums them up as the following five aspects:firstly,teachers' professional morality still occupies the dominant position in the structure of teachers' ethics;secondly,the professionalism of teachers is not strong;thirdly,the rapid transformation of social development has a great impact on the construction of teachers' professional ethics;fourthly,teachers' professional moral construction lacks appropriate evaluation standard and system;fifthly,teachers' professional morality lacks effective professional organization and system guarantee.In view of the plight of the development of teachers' professional morality in our country,this study puts forward the feasible route to optimize the teachers' professional morality construction:firstly,improving the professional consciousness,and realize the conversion of teachers' professional ethics to teachers' professional morality;secondly,the state should provide a good social environment for teachers' professional ethics development;thirdly,establishing a reasonable standard and system of teachers' professional moral evaluation;fourthly,learning from foreign experience and improve the construction of teacher's professional ethics;fifthly,teachers' professional moral construction should be integrated into the teacher continuing education system.
