Abstract:With the wealthy social property, work efficiency is getting higher, and people's leisure time is much more than before. Though college students have abundant leisure time, their leisure life has not been improved and immoralities always happen in our universities. Therefore, how should we guide our college students is our priority. This research integrates theory with practice from moral education with the core comprehensive development. The college students in the six universities in Xi'an are the research objects who are questioned by the questionnaire and interviews. This research analyzes the problems in college students' leisure life and proposes approaches to solve these problems from conflict theory, Bourdieu's Field-Habitus Theory, and time and social theory.This paper is divided into five parts. After gathering research documents on leisure education the first part puts forward the problems in college students' leisure life and reviews the documents about leisure and leisure education. It also involves the insufficient and the research method of this paper.The second part elicits leisure moral education from the background of cultural conflict, which proposes five levels in college students' leisure life by introducing meanings of leisure and related concepts. These include:Leisure of Social damage, leisure of physiological requirement, leisure of releasing mental stress, leisure of self-realization, and leisure of realizing social value. It puts forward the value of leisure moral education:social value and individual value, improving the comprehensive development in students'personalities, improving moral select ability of college students, enhancing comprehensive healthy development, enhancing healthy development of our harmonious society, improving sustainable development in Higher Education, and enhancing the comprehensive strength and the international competitiveness of our country.The third part investigates the leisure life in the six universities in Xi'an from five aspects: leisure value, leisure time utilizing, leisure morals selecting, meanings of ideal leisure morals, and social resource utilizing. It reveals problems of leisure life in college students: much difference in value, irrational leisure time utilizing, irrational selecting of leisure morals, and deficiency of social resources utilizing. The fourth part analyses the questionnaires by EXCEL from conflict theory, Bourdieu's Field-Habitus Theory, and time and social theory, explains the causes include difference of Field and Habitus, insufficient guidance, and disproportion of leisure resources.The fifth part puts forward the measures of guiding leisure moral education for college students: guidance of leisure moral value, enhancing leisure moral quality for oneself, expanding channel for leisure moral education, playing the function of the peer group, developing and preparing the leisure courses in universities, and integrating all kinds of moral education resources.
