Background:At early-stage of chronic kidney disease (CKD),there will be no symptoms or mild atypical symptoms. With the progressive deterioration of renal function, the emergence of a series of clinical symptoms and metabolic disorders, physiological function of all systems affected, seriously affect the patient’s quality of life, and shorten the life of patients. The epidemiological data showed that the prevalence rate of CKD increased year by year, CKD has become a public health problem in the world. The therapeutic effect of Western medicine is limited, cannot effectively curb the progress of irreversible renal function.CKD has become a worldwide medical problem. Traditional Chinese medicine has a long history, ancient and modern physicians had a very in-depth understanding of CKD, summarized many effective clinical experiences. Professor Zhao Jinxi has long been engaged in clinical diagnosis and treatment of diabetes and kidney disease, formed a lot of unique clinical experiences. Therefore, it is necessary to summarize and inherit his clinical experience systematically, in order to better clinical services.Objective:Summarize the basic idea of CKD in 3-5 phase of professor Zhao Jinxi in the treatment period with the application of data mining technology, and analyze the understanding of Professor Zhao Jinxi in etiology, pathogenesis, location of disease, rules of treatment, therapy of the disease, summarize the clinical experience of Professor Zhao Jinxi in the treatment of CKD in 3-5 phase, to provide reference for the prevention and treatment of CKD, and to provide a new method for the inheritance of traditional Chinese medicine.Methods:Collect the medical records of patients who on the treatment of professor Zhao Jinxi in nephropathy and Endocrinology Department in Dongzhimen Hospital of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine from September 2010 to January 2015. By preprocessing parsing and indexing, the medical records of collected 108 cases of hospitalized patients are stored to the database of medical records. By utilizing the comprehensive query function of medical records database, conduct the Data Mining of group case based on frequency statistics.
