| Purpose:To observe the efficacy and safety of Xuekang oral liquid on prevention of thrombocytopenia by chemotherapy in patients with malignant tumor.Material and method: Forty patients were enrolled in this study; patients with native NSCLC received GP chemotherapy, patients with native breast cancer received EC/FEC chemotherapy from May 2015 to October 2015 in Liaoning Cancer Hospital. All patients were randomly selected into A(T-C) group(n =22) and B(C-T) group(n = 18). In group A, Xuekang oral liquid(20ml tid d1-14) was administrated at the 1st cycle of chemotherapy, without the 2nd cycle of chemotherapy; in group B, Xuekang oral liquid(20ml tid d1-14) was administrated at the 2nd cycle of chemotherapy, without the 1st cycle of chemotherapy.We count the decline of platelet after the 1st and 2nd cycle, to further observe the adverse events of Xue Kang oral liquid.Results:In group A, the platelet counts level decreased significantly in 1st and 2nd cycle after chemotherapy compared with pretreatment(P=0.000). The decline of platelet counts by Xue Kang oral liquid at the 1st cycle was(64.72±58.12)×109/L, and the decline of platelet counts without Xue Kang oral liquid at the 2nd cycle was(81.54±91.31)×109/L,there was no significant differences(P=0.299). In group B, the platelet counts decreased significantly at 1st cycle after chemotherapy compared with pretreatment(P=0.000), there was no statistically significant difference after chemotherapy on platelet counts in 2nd cycle(P=0.088). The decline of platelet counts without Xue Kang oral liquid at the 1st cycle of chemotherapy was(93.55±73.96)×109/L, and the decline of platelet counts by Xue Kang oral liquid at the 2nd cycle of chemotherapy was(55.88±130.92)×109/L, there was no significant differences(P=0.229). During the process of Xue Kang oral liquid,none serious adverse events were observed.Conclusion:Xuekang oral liquid is efficacy and safety herb, thrombocytopenia was improved by Xuekang oral liquid. |
