Based on discourse theory as the guidance, this paper adopts the errors analysisand comparative analysis method, based on the HSK dynamic composition corpus,intermediate to advanced English background for students of discourse expressionerrors affect the cohesion and coherence of the analysis, to explore the reasons of thediscourse errors, and aim at the phenomenon of how to improve the quality ofdiscourse teaching Chinese as a foreign language, how to improve students languageexpression ability puts forward some Suggestions.This paper is divided into five chapters:Introduction, the concept of discourse and discourse theory are introduced, andthe development of discourse teaching Chinese as a foreign language and discourseerrors summarized research status, research methods and research purpose of thisarticle are pointed out.Intermediate to advanced English background studentsdiscourse errors in the first chapter, analysis, from the reference, ellipsis, substitution,connection, and the patterns of students in five aspects of discourse errors, found thatfor English students the background of discourse errors distribution imbalance, thispart in the alleged and connection errors appear more, ellipsis and substitution errorsare relatively few.Intermediate to advanced English background for internationalstudents in the second chapter, the reasons of the discourse errors, mainly include theinfluence of negative transfer of mother tongue and target language knowledge andteaching process and the insufficiency in compiling textbooks.Background studentsdiscourse errors in the third chapter, senior English teaching countermeasure,respectively from the teachers and the teaching process, teaching material writing andproblem set and student’s own learning habit these three angles puts forward someSuggestions.The last part is the conclusion, the study of this article to summarize,points out the deficiency in the process of the errors analysis.
