Object Specific Preview Benefit (OSPB) is a reaction time discrepancy which isobserved in Object Reviewing Paradigm. It is considered as a direct evidence ofObject File Theory, which depicted the mechanism of moving object consistentrepresent in visual working memory. The sequence study which use ObjectReviewing Paradigm found that the reaction time is the shortest when objectsreappeared in the initial location, so researchers proposed Global Representationtheory which consider OSPB as the reflection of the whole representation of objectinformation that stored in the relative location. This study found that:OSPB cannot be indicator of Object Files, for under the circumstance ofExperiment2, there is no OSPB when Object Files exist and under the circumstanceof Experiment3, there is OSPB when Object Files isn’t there. At this time, OSPB canonly be the effect of selective attention. What’s more, even under the GlobalRepresentation circumstance of Experiment5, selective attention also play a role in it.
