The vocational students are biologically and mentally distinctive. Such negativementalities as learning frustration, socializing frustration and anxiety attack annoytheir growth. According to foreign researches, the acceptability from society play anactive and positive role in remedying the mentalities. This thesis thus makes anapproach to the significance of relevance between the teenage negative mentalitiesand social support.The thesis makes efforts to figure out the possible therapies for the typicalnegative mentalities by investigating teenage state of mind and the relevant socialsupport.The statistics of the research are based on the SSRS and MHT quests on the551subjects from three local vocational schools. The results indicate:1. The anxiety attack is controllable. The male are less anxious than the female.The results of the freshmen parallel that of the juniors. In terms of major, comparingwith ones from the accounting, marketing and laws, the ones from the AD major arein the best condition. The accounting major is secondly better, the marketing third andthe laws last. In terms of location, the urban ones are better than the suburban ones. Interms of family, the ones from a one-child family are better than the ones from a bigfamily.2. The social support is average. The female are more welcome than the male.The results of the freshmen parallel that of the juniors. In terms of major, the supportacceptability to the accounting major is best, the AD second, the marketing secondand the laws last. In terms of location, the suburban ones are better than the urbanones. In terms of family, the ones from a normal family are better than the ones froma big family.3. The social support directly affects the state of mind. In other words, the levelof the communication anxiety, alienation, allergy, over-action, fear and crush isinversely proportional to the social support. However, the remorse tendency and learning anxiety shows little relevance to the social support.The thesis attempts to make a probe into social support and the state of mind ofvocational students, which will facilitate a remedy to their mental disorder and thusamend the existing weakness.
